Samsung to Open Three New US Stores to Promote New Galaxy Devices and Other Products

Samsung to Open Three New US Stores to Promote New Galaxy Devices and Other Products

Enterprise & IT Feb 15,2019 0

Samsung is launching three new retail locations in New York, California, and Texas, in order to offer consumers product demos and o celebrate 10 years of Samsung Galaxy phones.

The new Samsung Experience Stores will be located in Los Angeles, Long Island, and Houston, and will have a variety of Samsung products for sale, as well as offering access to repair services, and a number of other in-store experiences.

According to Samsung, the new stores are being launched in response to customer demand for hands-on experience with their products.

Samsung wants to establish itself as the one-true Apple competitor. One of the best ways to do that is to take up space in the mall next to Apple or Microsoft. All three locations of the new Samsung Experience — Roosevelt Field on Long Island, The Americana at Brand in Los Angeles and The Galleria in Houston — also house an Apple store. The Samsung Experience will sell not only phones direct to consumer, but other Samsung technology as well; technology such as 4k televisions, VR headsets and so on.

The three stores will open on February 20th, the same day as Samsung's Galaxy UNPACKED 2019 event. The Samsung Galaxy S10 is expected to be revealed at the event, and then consumers will most likely flood the three mall locations to get their greasy little hands on one.
