Samsung To Release 8-inch Galaxy Note tablet, New 5.8-inch Phone
New reports say Samsung will announce a 5.8-inch screen phone for the European market, alogn with a 8-inch-screen tablet next month at the Barcelona Mobile World Congress.
The phone is rumored to be called the "Fonblet" (!)
The "Fonblet," which appears to have been trademarked by the company, was reported by SamMobile, a tech news site that writes about Samsung.
SamMobile says the Fonblet will come in white and run some version of Android Jelly Bean.
The second rumored device by Samsung will be a tablet, which is expected to be called the Galaxy Note 8.0 and rival the iPad mini, Nexus 7 and the 7-inch Amazon Kindle Fire HD.
The tablet is rumored to feature a 1,280-by-800-pixel resolution display, a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front camera. SamMobile also reports it will have a MicroSD port.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 will be available in Wi-Fi only and cellular models and be available with either 16 or 32, according to the report.
