Samsung Teases With Water Resistant Features Of Upcoming Galaxy Smartphones
Samsung Electronics released new teasers for its upcoming flagship smartphone on Tuesday, giving a glimpse into the presumed Galaxy S7. Samsung plans to announce the new Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphones in an event slated for Feb. 21 in Barcelona, a day ahead the opening of the Mobile World Congress.
Previous invitations for the event had shown only a black box with a blue lining on the edge. The new teasers, however, showed four aspects of the phone--security, design, water resistance and camera.
Samsung's teasers showed the phrase "experience privacy at its finest," which was followed by "meet the irresistible," "worry-less discovery" and "bring light to the night," along with a draft image of each feature.
The Galaxy S7 is expected to include a pressure-sensitive display, similar to "3D Touch" promoted by Apple, and allow users to insert micro secure digital memory cards to increase data capacity.
