Sanyo Claims The Industry's Brightest Portable-class Projector
Sanyo announced the sale of a high resolution projector that has achieved the industry's highest brightness, 6,500 lumens - the LP-XP100L - available starting from August 1.
The mid-size, portable-class projector is equipped with SANYO's proprietary new high brightness optical engine capable of an impressive 6,500 lumens with only a single lamp. Additionally, the projector houses an on-board active maintenance filter system, which improves durability and ease-of-maintenance.
The projector offers a maximum resolution of 1,024?768, at an aspect ratio of 4:3. It's contrast is 2,000:1.
Sanyo claims that compared with conventional projectors of similar brightness, the new LP-XP100L has approximately halved the amount of power consumption, using only 490 watts, while being nearly twice as optically efficient.
Sanyo LP-XP100L will debut in the Japanese market early August, at an MSRP of 1,260,000 yen ($10,380).
