Skype Introduces Gift Cards
Skype today intriduced "Gift Cards," prepaid digital and physical cards with Skype credits that can be sent to other Skype users.
Receivers of Skype's new Gift Cards will be able to enjoy VoIP Skype calls to mobile phones and land lines, surf on the web through Skype Wi-Fi or send text messages to mobile devices.
In the U.S., Skype Gift Cards are available at retail locations including Microsoft Stores, Target and OfficeMax. You can also purchase e-Gift Cards, that can be delivered online to your friends and family, through the Skype Shop and on Skype's Facebook page starting at $10.
Skype Gift Cards can also be accompanied by a personal message and if they are bought on Facebook, they can also include a photo, audio or video message.
