Sony ships DVD-R/RW/CD-RW recorder

SONY will start selling the external DVD-R/RW drive "PCVA-DRW1" (IEEE 1394 connection) from June 2001 in Japan. The drive's price is not yet announced and rumors says it would be around 100.000 YEN (820$).
