StarForce Technologies will demonstrate its full complex of copy protection solutions at CeBIT 2003

StarForce Technologies will demonstrate its full complex of copy protection solutions at CeBIT 2003

General Interest Feb 28,2003 0

StarForce Technologies, the leading expert in copy protection, will be bringing a full set of its technological solutions to the CeBIT Expo, Hannover, Germany, March, 12-19. In a two year period the company has developed and released a line of copy protection systems for various types of media. Most of them have been actively used by European software producers and are available through a wide network of partners. Recently StarForce has extended its services in European countries by establishing new partnerships with a number of replication facilities: Optimal Media Production GmbH in Germany, OMD Productions AG in Switzerland, Fermata a.s. in Czech Republic, KDG MEDIATECH AG in Austria, France, Italy and the Netherlands.

The main goal of StarForce's presence at the trade show is to inform software publishers and producers of StarForce new product line to its potential users, to share information about our products, to assist in their selection and give necessary consultations, to carry on talks and negotiations about long-term partnerships. Live presentations of StarForce systems and free protection sessions will be a part of StarForce activities at CeBIT during all eight days of the exhibition. StarForce Technologies is planning to determine visitors of the show to become its future clients and partners.

CD-ROM/ DVD-ROM copy protection will be presented by StarForce Professional 3.0, a sophisticated system for securing multilevel edutainment applications and business software from illegal usage. The product has been popular among European game publishers and being used around the continent since 2002. Its “lighter CD-ROM version” with a very affordable price, Basic Edition 1.0, prevents casual copying of inexpensive software which is usually not protected due to a high cost of copy protection.

CD-R protection, StarForce CD-R 3.0, designed for limited editions and beta versions of software, becomes more popular among business software publishers and possesses the same characteristics as powerful StarForce Professional 3.0.

PDF protection will be available in both (CD-ROM and CD-R) formats. It prevents unauthorized use of electronic PDF (Portable Document Format) files.

StarForce in Hannover at CeBIT- March 12-19 2003, Hall 008, Booth # Β06.
