Actima has begun shipping small quantity of its new CD-ROM drive to computer OEMs, SI and multimedia PC upgraded kit suppliers. The A52T, is the newest CD-ROM drive from Actima, one of the world's leading manufacturers of read-only and rewritable CD drives, DVD-ROM for use in desktop computer, notebook and storage products.

As previously announced by ACTIMA of its 10 speed DVD-ROM, the AD10S, ACTIMA continues to provide you the 52X CD-ROM. Actima's 100% own designed 52X ATAPI/E-IDE CD-ROM drive is capable of max data transfer rate of 7800KB/sec. This Plug and Play ready drive supports Ultra DMA 33 / DMA mode 2 / PIO mode 4 for minimal CPU utilization. Additionally, Actima A52T is certified compliant with Win3.x/95/98/NT and is compatible with major CD family media. The A52T offers a consistently high level of quality, compatibility, reliability and outstanding performance..." NULL
