In the graph above, we can figure out that the drive was the slightly the slowest among the other two, even though it managed to confirm the manufacturer's specifications.
The reported seek times for TDK drive were quite good for all modes.- CD-R results (Click for CDSpeed results)
We made a copy of the previous, pressed CD in order to test the drive's behavior with a CD-R media. As in the previous test the TDK drive gave similar results with the other drives.
The comparison outcome with pressed CD is similar with the pressed cd seek time comparison.
- ReWritable Media (Click for CDSpeed results)
For the reading test we used 24x High Speed rewritable media from Mitsubishi Chemicals.
Quite the same results with the other two drives. No bodacious difference.
