Toshiba Adds New Models To Click and Encore Families

Toshiba Adds New Models To Click and Encore Families

PC components Jan 6,2015 0

Today, Toshiba showcased at CES some new members to the Click and Encore product lines. The Satellite Click Mini 2-in-1 is compact, portable, and built for porductivity and the Toshiba Encore 2 Write is a tablet that will feature two different sizes and utilizes high-precision Wacom pen technologies to move you from productivity to creativity in a flash.

The Toshiba Encore 2 Write is available in two sizes-- a 10.1" and 8". Both are powered by Windows and feature an Intel Atom processor. With the purchase of a Toshiba Encore 2 Write you also get access to your favorite applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with a one year subscription to Office 365 Personal.

The Encore 2 Write was made for drawing, writing, and taking notes and includes a multi-touch screen with sensor technology that supports sharp pen strokes so you can write more naturally on the tablet’s surface. Toshiba’s fine-tip TruPen really shines in its accuracy and feels as natural as writing on paper.

The Satellite Click Mini 2-in-1 is tiny. It has an 8.9" Full HD screen and features a detachable keyboard. If you find yourself away from your home and needing a device that offers portability, productivity and fun, this could be a great device for you. It packs 16 hours of battery life when it is attached to the keyboard so you can be on almost any flight and not have to worry about finding power to charge.

Like the Encore 2 Write, the Satellite Click Mini 2-in-1 is powered by Windows and an Intel Atom processor. It too comes with a one year subscription of Office 365 Personal.

The Encore 2 Write tablets will be available starting on January 11th for $399.99 for the 10.1 inch and $349.99 for the 8 inch. The Satellite Click Mini will be available in Europe starting in March for €299.
