Ubisoft Apologizes For Assassin's Creed Unity Issues, Offers Free Game

The launch of Ubisoft's highly-anticipated Assassin’s Creed Unity game was not smooth as the had many bugs, so Ubisoft is offering Assassin’s Creed Unity‘s first downloadable content expansion, Dead Kings, to everyone that purchased the game for free as a gift. "I want to sincerely apologize on behalf of Ubisoft and the entire Assassin's Creed team. These problems took away from your enjoyment of the game, and kept many of you from experiencing the game at its fullest potential," said Yannis Mallat,
CEO, Ubisoft Montreal & Toronto.

Ubisoft has released patches in orde to resolve many of the issues related to the firts game release. Today, the company released the third patch, which fixes a variety of specific issues related to the game’s stability and performance, matchmaking and connectivity, gameplay and menus.

Ubisoft will be making the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Unity Dead Kings DLC free for everyone. For Season Pass holders, the company will also offer the choice of one additional game from a selection of Ubisoft titles for free.
