Vivo V15 Pro With 32MP Pop-Up Camera Launches In India

Vivo V15 Pro With 32MP Pop-Up Camera Launches In India

Smartphones Feb 20,2019 0

Chinese company Vivo has officially unveiled in India the new V15 Pro smartphone, which features a 32MP front-facing pop-up camera.

At its rear side, the smartphone has three snappers, standing at 48MP (Quad Pixel sensor), 8MP (AI Super wide-angle lens), and 5MP (Bokeh and Shot Refocus).

Furthermore, the device supports Super Night mode for low-light photography, much like Night Sight and Nightscape features, and AI-based camera capabilities.

The second highlight is the presence of an under-the-display fingerprint scanner. Vivo claims that it can, unlock the device in less than 0.37 seconds. Additionally, the device supports facial recognition.

The V15 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset, becoming India’s first smartphone to be equipped with the same.

It also comes with a 6.39-inch Full HD+ Ultra FullView OLED display with an aspect ratio rated at 19:5:9 for really thin bezels. The device carries 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

Power is coming from a 3, 700mAh battery with Dual Engine fast charging. The V15 Pro still charges via Micro-USB, the dying port that has been replaced two years ago by the vastly superior USB-C.

With a Spectrum Ripple Design, it supports Jovi AI assistant with added features and comes in Topaz Blue and Ruby Red color options.

The Vivo V15 Pro runs Android 9.0 Pie and comes with a price tag of Rs 28, 990.

It will be available via Amazon India, Flipkart, and Vivo Store, starting March 6 with pre-orders beginning today. It starts at Rs 28, 990 in India, or about $400.
