Apacer Introduces The HC212 "Ocean Wave" Flash Drive

PC components Jun 9,2005 0

Apacer Technology introduces a brand new Handy Steno Series product – the Handy Steno HC212 "Ocean Wave’" flash drive. Its spiral design brings a fresh "ocean element" to the flash drive market. The HC212 comes in the color dark gray. It is perfect for storing school projects, MP3s, videos, pictures or any other data. The built-in LED indicator shows the devices status when data is being transferred. The HC212 "Ocean Wave" flash drive is easy to use and is convenient for transporting files between home, work, school, library, computer lab or simply for sharing these files with friends and family. It is the perfect companion for the summer!

The HC212 "Ocean Wave" has a USB 2.0 interface (backward compatible to USB 1.1) for high-speed data transfers at up to 8 MB/sec for read and 3 MB/sec for write. The HC212 "Ocean Wave" flash drive comes in a range of memory sizes from 64 MB to 2 GB. Compact, slim and lightweight at only 11 grams, it is great for those cramped spaces around USB ports and is an attractive and useful storage drive that will surely impress all.

According to Jason Jan, Managing Director of Apacer Europe, the design concept of the HC212 "Ocean Wave" originated from ripples over the open ocean. The rippled patterns not only add style, but also provide anti-slip/easy-grip functionality to the device. With its design and easy to use functionality, the HC212 "Ocean Wave" flash drive brings youth and energy to mobile digital storage this summer.
