Web analytics company OneStat.com reported that Microsoft's Windows dominates the operating system market. Windows XP has a global usage share of 72 percent and Windows Vista 21 percent. In April the global usage share of Microsoft's Windows XP was 83 percent and Windows Vista almost 14 percent. The global usage share of Vista has increased 7.4 percent since April, according to the report. The global usage share of XP has decreased with 11.25 percent since April.

Apple has a global usage share of 3.66 percent worldwide. But in the USA and Canada the global usage share is much higher as in most European countries. The global usage share of Apple's browser was 2.18 percent which is an increasement of 1.48 percent since April.
