QPS Introduces Que! Fire DVD-RAM Drive

QPS Introduces Que! Fire DVD-RAM Drive

General Interest Jul 21,1999 0

"..QPS Inc. Tuesday announced that it will introduce its new Que! Fire DVD-RAM drive for Apple G3 and PC desktop computers this week at MACWORLD Expo New York.
The new drive is the FireWire version of the Que! DVD-RAM drive introduced earlier this year, and is ideal for desktop publishing, archiving and presentations. It also allows users to easily record DVD-RAM, MPEG-2 and DVD movies for playback on television sets and computer monitors.
The Que! Fire DVD-RAM drive provides both enhanced caching for read/write throughput and a transfer rate of up to 16.6 MB/sec. It is backward-read-compatible with CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW, and DVD-ROM media and can be used as a replacement for DAT, Jaz, Orbs and Syquest drives.
The complete package includes UDF software for Windows 95/98 and Apple operating systems, industry standard 5.2GB rewritable DVD-RAM media, necessary accessories and a carrying bag. Priced at $599 (MSRP), the drive will be available in August.." NULL
