Just in time for the holiday season, Opera Software i released Opera 11.60, the newest version of Opera's desktop browser. The new browser allows users to add their favorite sites to their Speed Dial by clicking the new Star button.

Opera has also redesigned browser's built-in mail client, which allows users to manage their messages automatically. A number of improvements include a cleaner layout, message grouping, a more intuitive view in the inbox and easier navigation.

The latest Opera browser also includes the new HTML5 parsing algorithm which helps unify code discrepancies among browsers. A new network code also establishes secure connections smarter, thus boosting speed on SSL sites.
