New Facebook Tool Helps Users Filter Their Friend's Feeds
Facebook has rolled out a new tool that provides suggestions in regards to friends that could be good candidates for the Acquaintance List.
Launched with the Close Friends List during September 2011, the Acquaintance List is designed for friends that aren't as interesting as they used to be. By using a new tool to easily move friends to the Acquaintance List, users will see far fewer posts within the main news feed. Adding a friend to the Acquaintances list does not mean he or she will be unfriended or notified, Facebook said.
To try the new tool, go to your Friends page, select the Acquaintances list and click See All Suggestions.
To see the suggestions manager, click "See All Suggestions" and follow the steps to move friends onto the Acquaintance List. In order to take someone off the Acquaintance List, revisit the main Friend?s List page and manually remove each friend.
