Samsung To Release New Series 7 3D Gaming Laptop
Samsung will release a new 3D laptop designed for gamers and sized just slighty reminiscent of Asus flagship Lamborghini series.
The new Series 7 supports 3D and features a 17.3-inch 3-D LED backlit display, offering 3D viewing using passive glasses.
Additional specs for the updated lineup include a new AMD Radeon HD 7870M graphics card and 128 GB SSD, along with an 1 TB standard hard drive. The SSD brings the boot time for this machine down to 11.37 seconds and of course is of further great benefit after booting.
The laptop is powered by an Ivy Bridge architecture Intel Core i7-3610QM processor and its 3D display has racked up a brightness rating of 400 nit with 1920 x 1080 resolution.
The device is also equipped with 8 GB of RAM, which can scale up to 16 GB on pre-order or after.
According to Samsung's page, the Series 7 gaming laptop goes live Asia on August 14 for 2.99 million won, or about US $2,643.
