"...After to the autumn last yearly first was introduced CD Mavica, the MVC-CD1000, Sony carries out now consistently the next step: Apart from the 8 cm-CD-Recordable-media (CD-R) fall back the two compact, technically experienced beginners MVC-CD300 and MVC-CD200 now also to a equivalent large CD-Rewritable (CD-RW) as storage medium. The advantage of these 8 cm-CD/RW is clearly obvious: Their 156 MB can be again-described believe it or not up to 200-times.
The advantages are opposite other storage media the simple handling and the price memory favorable price: The compatibility of the CD-R or CD-RW is ensured without wiring or additional adapter to all usual multi-read CD drives. The price of a CD-RW amounts to approx. 15 DM. Thus the costs are converted even once about 10 Pfennig per megabyte storage capacity. The graphic data besides in the standardized "universal Disc format (UDF)" on the CD-RW are written. After the finalizing these are then stored in the ISO-9660-Format and thus a maximal compatibility is guaranteed.
There are will be 2 models MVC-CD300 (price around 2,899 DM (1380$) , available June 2001) and MVC-CD200 (price around 2,299 DM (1095$), available June 2001)..." NULL
