Huawei Ascend W2 Coming In Europe
Huawei today rollout details for the Ascend W2, a colorful new addition to its Windows Phone 8 lineup.
Available in black, blue, yellow, and red, this eye-catching successor to the company?s W1 model is coming to Russia and the Netherlands this month, the company said, with more markets to follow. The phone is already available in China on the country's TD-SCDMA and UMTS networks.
Under the hood, the wallet-friendly phone sports a 4.3-inch 800 x 480 WVGA IPS display, 1.4 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 512 MB RAM, 8GB of built-in storage and a micro SD expansion slot. It also has FM radio support and 5 MP camera that supports 720P video recording and playback.
The touchscreen is also designed to respond even when wearing gloves. Finally, the phone's 1700 mAh battery also boasts up to 16 days standby time, the company says. Besides the four body colors, Huawei also supplies more than 20 Start screen themes to dress things up.
