Nintendo Says Dead LCD Pixels Are Normal For Switch

Nintendo Says Dead LCD Pixels Are Normal For Switch

Gaming Mar 7,2017 0

Nintendo claims that any dead pixels on the display of your new Switch gaming device are normal and that it's not a defect.

Over at Reddit, a handful of users noticed that the support website for the Nintendo Switch gaming console has a page that addressed the "black or bright dots" found on the Nintendo Switch's display. However, the page insists that dead pixels on your Switch are acceptable. From the support site:

"Small numbers of stuck or dead pixels are a characteristic of LCD screens. These are normal and should not be considered a defect."

The majority of LCD makers tend to have a Dead Pixel Policy - they replace your LCD if faulty pixels appezar on it within a specific timeframe.
