Redmi 7A Comes With a 12MP Sony IMX486 Camera Sensor

The Redmi 7A smartphone, the successor of the Redmi 6A, is available in India.

The smartphone will be available in three colors – Matte Blue, Matte Gold, and Matte Black. It sports a 5.45-inch screen HD+ display and is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC, clocked at 2GHz.

The Indian variant comes with a 12-megapixel primary shooter with SONY IMX486 sensor. The device will also be getting the AI Scene Detection feature in the coming weeks. Moreover, the phone packs a 4,000mAh battery which will provide 30 hours of VoLTE calling. Two variants of the phone will be available in India – 2GB + 16GB and 2GB + 32GB. Both of the variants will come with a microSD card slot.

The smartphone sports a splash-proof design and will come with wireless FM Radio support. In addition, the the Redmi 7A features AI face unlock.

The price will BE Rs 5,999 for the base 2GB + 16GB variant and Rs 6,199 forthe 2GB + 32GB variant. The device is backed by a two-year warranty.
