BIOSTAR Launches A Reboot of The H61 Series Motherboards

BIOSTAR introduced the H61MHV2 motherboard that supports Intel’s 2nd and 3rd generation Core i7 / i5 / i3 / Pentium / Celeron processors in the 1155 package.

Due to popular demand, the company has decided to relaunch INTEL’s H61 chipset series motherboards with the new H61MHV2 motherboard, a reboot of its popular predecessor the IH61MF-Q5. Built in a Micro-ATX form factor, the H61MHV2 supports 2 DIMMs of DDR3 RAMs that offer a better bandwidth and have a lower operating voltage range for lower overall power consumption. It is also equipped with HD Audio and HDMI and a high definition video output. In addition, it is equipped with GbE LAN.

The BIOSTAR H61MHV2 features: 1 x PS/2 Keyboard Port, 4 x USB 2.0 Ports, 1 x HDMI Port, 1 x VGA Port, 1 x GbE LAN Port, 3 x Audio Jacks.

Users buying this new H61 board, we expect, are just going to be replacing their original $50 designs (2011?) with something similar.
