Goke Microelectronics Introduces the 311C-Y SSD Based on Yangtze Memory's 64-Layer TLC Flash
Goke Microelectronics announced a long-term supply agreement with Yangtze Memory and has released the 331C-Y, an SSD based on Yangtze Memory's 64-layer TLC flash memory with speeds that reach the 560MB/s.
The Chinese company also announced a new generation of SSD master GK2302 V200 series based on Yangtze Memory's 128-layer QLC flash. The company supports China-made flash memory and ha already released many China-made SSDs.
The latest 311C-Y series SSDs is using Goke's own GK2302 chipset. The GK2302 memory controller is a dual-core chip that uses Chinese CPU IP corea and the company's NANDXtra reliability engine.
According to Goke Microelectronics, the 311C-Y drive supports reads at up to 560MB/s, write at 480MB/s, and 78K / 86K IOPS in random reads / writes -- a good overall performance for SATA 6Gbps SSDs.
Goke Microelectronics does not disclose the data life or P/E count of the 311C-Y drive, which uses advanced management technology, supports domestic autonomous operating system as well as active warnings related to the drive's health.
The Goke Microelectronics 311C-Y series SSDs are expected to be available in June. Although prices have not yet been disclosed, they are expected to be very competitive to other SSDs.
