With advanced technologies and engineering designs, AOpen announced the latest innovative optical storage drive, AOpen CRW4048 which burns an entire CD less than 2 minutes. The AOpen CRW4048 provides high reliability and compatibility by writing CD-R disc at fastest 40X, CD-RW disc at 12X Speed, and reading CD disc at up to 48X speed. The AOpen CRW4048 drive comes with innovative technologies such as Just Link and Just Speed to prevent Buffer under run error and disc writing error occur. Key Features:

- E-IDE interface meets requirements of ATAPI Version 2.6
- Compliant with Orange Book Part II (CD-R) and Part III, Volume 2 V1.0 (CD-RW)
- Read data at 48X speed (7200 KB/sec)
- Write data at 40X speed (CD-R, 6000 KB/sec)
- Write data at 12X speed (CD-RW, 1800KB/sec)
- JustLink has made auto-avoidance against buffer under run errors possible
- JustSpeed reduces Disc errors such as insufficient power in writing and servo follow error
- OPC technology boosts recording reliability
- Supports random UDF for easy writing to CD-RW discs
- 8 MB Buffer Memory.
- Power tray loading mechanism
- Supports DMA and UDMA
- Emergency disk unload
- Front panel rotary volume control
- Back panel analog audio output and digital audio output

AOpen CRW4048 will be shipped in quantities in the middle of the April.
