Arctic Freezer 36
3. Installation
Installing the CPU cooler requires several steps and mostly we advise you to read the Arctic online guide for installing the product either for Intel or AMD platforms. We mainly tested this product with the AM5 platform, so we can comment on the procedure and the installation method. You need to remove the existing stock brackets and use spacers and screws to secure the mounting mechanism as follows.
Something that the manual doesn't mentions is that you need to have to screw mounting plates as follows, so you can install the CPU cooler, else you won't be able to fit it properly.
After applying the included thermal paste, you have to remove the plastic protective film from the base and place the Freezer 36 in the CPU area. With the two included screws you have to secure the CPU at the CPU brackets. As a last step, you need to install the included 120mm fans at the main body (easy to snap on, just press them) and then install the CPU fan PWM cable at the motherboard.
