ASUS today announced ExpertCenter PN42, a mini PC powered by an Intel® N100 or N200 processor. The fanless design of this mini PC reduces operational noise and prevents dust from building up inside the chassis. Designed for small or medium-sized businesses, it features up to seven USB ports and can be specified with an additional 2.5 Gbps LAN port and a configurable port for DisplayPort™ 1.4, VGA, COM, HDMI®, or USB-C® with DisplayPort 1.2. The integrated graphics of ExpertCenter PN42 enables it to support up to three monitors or two 4K displays simultaneously. It embraces sustainable manufacturing, with a chassis made from recycled plastic.

Fanless design
ExpertCenter PN42 has a robust build quality that ensures durability and reliability. Its fanless design enables it to run almost silently and reduces dust accumulation inside the chassis, making it ideal for quiet environments or industrial use. The ribbed chassis design includes slats to enhance cooling performance, while a dedicated heatsink cools the SSD and WiFi module.

Multi-display support
Integrated Intel UHD Graphics enable ExpertCenter PN42 to support two 4K displays for stunning visuals. With DisplayPort and HDMI ports, along with the configurable port and its display options, this mini PC can support up to three standard monitors, making it ideal for retail, enterprise, medical, and educational applications.

Ultrafast WiFi 6 and 2.5 GbE
A WiFi 6 module facilitates seamless streaming of high-resolution videos and fewer dropped connections. ExpertCenter PN42 also includes WiFi 6E that supports the 6 GHz band to allow more connected devices without compromising network performance and reliability. Additionally, WiFi 6E offers better security to safeguard against unauthorized access and attacks.

Next-generation 2.5 GBASE-T networking technology delivers speeds of up to 2.5 Gbps, giving ExpertCenter PN42 users superfast online performance at home or in the office. Users also have the option of specifying an additional 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port.

Convenient tool-less access
The chassis of ExpertCenter PN42 is designed to enable tool-less access, making it easy to upgrade or replace the M.2 SSDs.

Crystal-clear communication
Two-Way AI Noise Cancelation leverages the power of artificial intelligence to eliminate background noise for crystal-clear communication. ExpertCenter PN42 supports popular communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Skype, Slack, and Zoom, and offers both input and output noise cancelation for astonishingly clear online meetings and calls.

RGB power button with boot-up indicator
The RGB power button glows different colors to indicate system status for easy troubleshooting. The power button glows white when the system has successfully booted up. A blue light indicates a system error during the boot-up sequence, while a cyan light signifies a CPU error. A green light shows a memory error, while yellow indicates a display error. A red light alerts the user that a boot device error has occurred.
