4. Installation
Using Everest Ultimate Edition 2006, we can get detailed information about the board:

For our review, we had the latest available BIOS (1801 release). What troubled us is that with our default setup (memory modules installed are two 1GB Crucial PC2-8000), the board couldn't get a stable memory divider at 1:2 (1067MHz). The same behaviour had been witnessed with the P5W64WSPro board. In contrast, the P5B Deluxe could handle a 1:2 memory divider without any problem. We assume that either it is a BIOS problem or an Intel's 975X chipset problem. Let's now see how our CPU was identified with CPU-Z:
