BenQ Adds HDMI Interface in New Widescreen LCD Display

BenQ Adds HDMI Interface in New Widescreen LCD Display

PC components Jun 5,2006 0

BenQ expands its LCD monitor lineup with BenQ FP241W, the first LCD monitor with an HDMI interface and full 1080p HD support. BenQ FP241W also features the Advanced Motion Accelerator (AMA) and BenQ's proprietary Senseye Technology as well as a 1000:1 contrast ratio and flexible screen adjustment.

BenQ FP241W's HD support feature provides users to enjoy lifelike video through new generations of consumer electronics such as game consoles and HD DVD players. The HDMI interface enables 5Gbps data transfer and eliminates the need for signal conversion, ensuring the best quality video and audio performance.

With 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) high resolution, BenQ FP241W is able to display more content while delivering high quality images and legible text. In addition, BenQ FP241W's 24-inch widescreen design allows users to view two independent A4-size windows simultaneously, making it ideal for professional applications such as finance, health care, research and communication centers. Moreover, the embedded PIP (picture-in-picture) function provides users to play back video from two different sources such as from a DVD player and a PC.

BenQ FP241W's screen adjustment provides users to adjust the screen viewing angle for a more comfortable experience, including -45/45 left/right swivel angle and height adjustment. BenQ FP241W also comes outfitted with integrated USB ports.

BenQ has not disclosed pricing details for the product.
