Canon reveals PowerShot A85
Canon has announced the 4Mp PowerShot A85, the successor to its popular A70, and claims that the camera boasts improved ergonomics and styling and several feature improvements.
New features include a 1.8-inch LCD, six new scene presets, the ability to record VGA movie clips with sound, 9-point auto focus and extended print functionality.
The camera has a 3x optical zoom (equivalent to 35-105mm) with a maximum aperture of f2.8-f4.8. The A85 offers 13 different shooting modes (including manual, aperture priority and shutter priority) and PictBridge compatibility for computer-less printing.
With a suggested retail price of £204 plus VAT, the PowerShot A85 will be on sale in August.
