Casio Computer Co said Wednesday it will launch the world's smallest digital camera.

The camera is expected to be released in late September and will have a zoom lens and measures only 79 cubic centimeters.

Casio said it made its palm-sized Exilim camera smaller by using a ceramic lens for the first time. It said the ceramic lens has a higher refractive index than glass lens
