Cyberdrive announces 8x DVD+RW burner

Cyberdrive joins the 8x DVD recording market this November with the upcoming DX082D internal type DVD+R/RW recorder The new DVD+R/RW drive offers 8x /4x DVD+R/+RW writing, 12x DVD-ROM reading while it is also a 32x/24x/40x CD-RW. Specifications:

- IDE/ATAPI interface
- Maximum data transfer rate : 16,260 KB/s for DVD-ROM (12X), and 6,000 KB/s for CD-ROM (40X).
 8X DVD+R write speed.
 4X DVD+RW re-write speed.
 32X CD-R write speed
 24X CD-RW re-write speed.
  - Average access time is typical 130 ms .
- Compatible with MS-DOS, Windows NT/2000, Windows 95/98/ME/XP
- Supports to read and write CD-R / CD-RW / DVD+R(Ver.1.1) / DVD+RW(Ver.1.1).
- Support Disc at Once(DAO), Track at Once(TAO) and Session at Once(SAO)  recording method.
- Support DVD disc format: DVD-Video(8cm/12cm, Single and Dual Layer),  DVD+ROM (8cm/12cm, Single and Dual Layer), Multi-Boader, Multi-Session.
- Support CD disc format: CD-DA, CD-ROM, CD-ROM/XA, mixed mode, Video-CD,  Photo CD, Enhanced CD, CD Plus, CD-Text.
- Support PIO mode 4 / Multiword DMA mode 2 and UltraDMA mode 2.
- Support 8MB internal buffer. (Easy firmware upgrade over the Internet)
- Seamless Link technology to prevent Buffer Under Run error.
