CyberLink today announced the launch of U, a photo and text messaging app. The apps feature set makes it ideally positioned to enrich interactions with family and friends this holiday season, especially for those who are not able to be together.

The U instant communication app allows you to share comments directly on photos or create a single album that only selected contacts can add photos to and comment on. You can also merge photo and audio by adding a voice recording to tell the story and background behind the picture. Personal notes can be also added to photos in albums.

In order to maintain control over shared messages, you can recall messages - remove text, photos and stickers from recipients’ devices even after they’ve been read. You can also delete full history with a friend by taking back all content including messages and photos and deleting them from the Contacts list. A timer for messages, photos or stickers can be set, meaning that they will be disappear in as little as three seconds or as long as seven days.

In the coming months, U will be fully integrated into CyberLink’s multimedia ecosystem. U is available free on the App Store and Google Play.
