Dell, Lenovo Eye IBM's Low-end Server Business: reports
Dell and Lenovo are reportedly both intersting in bidding for IBM's low-end server business.
The Wall Street Journal's sources named Dell as a possible buyer for IBM's business, in a move that would help Dell expand its enterprise reach.
Seperately, Bloomberg put Lenovo Group into the game. The Chinese company has been long rumored to be ineresting in the acquisition of IBM's low-end server unit but the latest report claims that the company is "in serious discussions" with IBM.
Lenovo and IBM failed to agree last year on a price for the assets, estimated to be worth $2.5 billion to $4.5 billion.
