Denon To Release The DBP-1611UD Universal Blu-ray 3D Player In Japan
Denon plans to release the DBP-1611UD universal Blu-ray disc player in Japan in late December, priced at 52,500 yen ($630).
The player supports 3D/2D Blu-ray as well as SACD,
BD-R/RE (BDAV), DVD Video, DVD Audio, DVD±R/ RW, CD audio, CD-R/RW, and photo CD playback. The player also offers reproduction of MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV, JPEG and DivX files stored on
DVD±R/RW and CD-R/RW media. The AVCHD and DivX Plus HD formats are also supported. A future firmware upgrade will also add compatibility with AVCREC recorded discs, Denon said.
Additional features include support for DLNA 1.5, MPEG, WMV (WMV9/VC-1), AVI (MPEG-1/2/4) video, WMA, MP3, AAC music and JPEG .
A USB port found on the front panel of the device can be used to playback files stored in external USB storage devices.
The DBP-1611UD is also supporting BD-LIVE content,comes with an HDMI output 1080/60i, 1080/60p, and outputs 1080/24p, Deep Color, x.v.Color, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, analog audio, and bitstream audi throug the HDMI.
SD DVD content can be upscaled to the resolution of 1080p.
