HMD Launches The Nokia 150 Phones

HMD Global, the Finnish company that owns the rights to use the Nokia brand on mobile phones, announced its first new products on Tuesday - the basic Nokia 150 handsets.

HMD said the Nokia 150 and Nokia 150 Dual SIM would go on sale in selected markets early next year.

With the launch of Nokia 150, HMD Global will strengthen the Nokia feature phones portfolio comprising of popular devices like Nokia 105, Nokia 216 and Nokia 230.

The new phones are featuring hard-wearing polycarbonate shells and scratch-resistant color. Both Nokia 150 and Nokia 150 Dual SIM come with built in FM radio and MP3 player. The 2.4" screen and familiar user interface and keypad make the affordable Nokia 150 and Nokia 150 Dual SIM easy-to-use.

Tthe phones have outstanding battery life, with talk time lasting up to 22 hours, and standby times of up to 31 days for the Single SIM and 25 days for the Dual SIM variant. The phones charge with a standard micro-USB charger and come with a LED torchlight.

The phones come pre-loaded with games including classic Snake Xenzia and try and buy Nitro Racing by Gameloft. The camera with LED flash allows users to capture their special moments and share them with friends and family through Bluetooth.

Nokia 150 and Nokia 150 Dual SIM come in black and white at only USD 26 before local taxes and subsidies.

The basic phone business currently makes most of its sales in India, elsewhere in Asia and eastern Europe.
