HP released DVD 420 writer (available in internal and external editions), supporting the following recording speeds :DVD±R at up to 8x recording, DVD±RW at up to 4x, and CDs at up to 24x. Has also released the DVD Movie Writer dc4000 with built-in analogue video capture and full DVD ±R/±RW and CD writer capabilities. Both DVD 420e and DVD 420i drives are equipped with 2MB buffer for buffer underrun prevention and the packages include 2 software CDs, Quick-start placemat, Getting help guide, Minimum legal requirements booklet, Blank DVD media and Installation screws. The external drive also include IEEE 1394 cable, USB 2.0 cable and Blank DVD media
