Amazon is expected to announce a next-generation Kindle Fire HD soon and the first images of the new tablet have appeared online an dshow a completely redesigned device.
Boy Genius Report (BGR.com) on Wednesday published images of what it claims, is the next-generation Kindle Fire HD. The slate is featuring hard edges and newly-designed buttons. According to the web site, Amazon.com will release a 7-inch and a an 8.9-inch Kindle Fire model.
In addition, the device will reportedly feature speakers placed at the top side of it, a 1,9200 x 1,200-pixel display, the quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, and 2GB of RAM.
Whether the device in the image will actually turn out to be the next-generation Kindle Fire remains to be seen.
Amazon.com has not provided any comment on the report yet.
