LaCie Ships Dual-Disk RAID Solution

LaCie has made available of a fast dual-disk RAID solution - the LaCie 2big. Now with Thunderbolt 2 technology, the LaCie 2big delivers speeds of up to 420MB/s. This speed is combined with up to 12TB of capacity, hardware RAID and an industrial design.

The LaCie 2big features front–loading disks, disk status LEDs, improved near–silent heat dissipation, a secret door for cable management, and hardware RAID protection.

It is the first dual–disk product to ship with Thunderbolt 2 and USB 3.0. This means the LaCie 2big gets the best possible speeds on any late–model PC or Mac computer.

The LaCie 2big is available in 6, 8 or 12TB capacities through LaCie Resellers starting at $599.00.
