Microsoft To Take EU 'Right to be forgotten' Requests
The Luxembourg-based Court of Justice of the European Union in May ordered Google to remove a link to an old newspaper article about a Spanish man's bankruptcy. The ruling requires that Internet search services remove information deemed "inadequate, irrelevant or no longer relevant." Failure to do so can result in fines.
Microsoft is offering a web form on its Bing website, in which users who want their online presence in Bing to be deleted should fill in a questionnaire.
