"..Microtech Systems is now shipping its latest CD-R production system, the ImageAutomator 150, featuring a new automated handler with a small footprint.

The new system features up to four 8X write drives, up to 400 disc capacity and throughput of up to 70 discs per hour, including printing and recording. Printer options include a 1200 DPI inkjet printer or a thermal transfer printer, monochrome or color.

Pricing starts at $8395. In addition, through a new Microtech lease option, the model 150 can be leased for as little as $305 per month on a four year fair market value purchase option. The lease can include service options, installation and training costs. Future upgrades may be leased as well.

ImageAutomator 150 can be particularly cost efficient for on-demand publishing applications that require production of many unique discs. Make-your-own music CDs or catalogs containing maps, fine art, clip art, type fonts and stock photography are good examples.
