MS Office 12 to Natively Support PDF
Microsoft has announced that it will introduce PDF (Portable Document Format) support in its forthcoming version of Office, code-named "Office 12", scheduled for release in the second half of 2006.
In effect, users will be able to save documents in the PDF format, which is a popular method of sharing documents between different computers and software programs.
ΒR> Reportedly, the PDF format will be integrated in MS Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and InfoPath among other applications. Microsoft maintains that the inclusion of PDF in Office 12, will further broaden the appeal of the program.
