With a new heatsink technology "Advanced Cooling System (ACS)", exclusive from MSI, as well as a big capacity nine-cell battery, the running time of the L740 can easily over four hours, saving you from carrying an extra battery when you go on business. The high brightness and precision mirror-finished screen gives you most detail of image, resulting high saturation and high definition image quality as well as luxurious visual sensation. More noteworthy is that L740 has a 1.3M pixel webcam embedded on top of the screen. Furthermore, L740 has a number pad just like the one you can find in a desktop computer, making the life of those who are responsible for account, fin ance, and such easier.

Wireless connectivity is a must for a mobile computing platform. Using the latest Intel Centrino Duo architecture, the L740 supports all wireless connectivity technology currently exist, such as 802,11 a /b/g standards.

A DTV receiver is embedded, making L740 not merely a notebook but also a widescreen LCD TV. You don't have to buy any TV card, and just connect your L740 to a DTV antenna, and then the L740 instantly become a digital TV without any extra TV card. Furthermore, you can use an infrared remote controller that comes with the L740 to change channel and adjust volume.

The L740 is the first notebook to use a GbE interface. This interface provides 1000Mbps transferring rate, allowing you to access multimedia-feature- embedded web pages easily and to exchange big files on your LAN instantly.
