Asus announced the new DRW-2014S1/S1T ? a DVD rewriter that supports 14X DVD-RAM write, 20X DVD+/-R and 8X DVD+/-R dual layer media sources. The ASUS DRW-2014S1/S1T features Over-speed Burning ? a technology that is able to burn DL 2.4X discs at 8X speeds. The drive offers both 20X DVD-Write and 20X DVD+Write, making it capable of reading from and writing on DVD-Write/ Rewrite and DVD+Write/ Rewrite formats. It also enables 14X DVD-RAM, 6X DVD-Rewrite, 8X DVD+Rewrite, 16X DVD-ROM single layer, 40X CD-R, 40X CD-RW and 48X CD-ROM capabilities ? providing flexible and high-speed operations.



FlextraLink prevents buffer underrun problems and eliminates the creation of unusable discs, while FlextraSpeed enhances reliability when writing and rewriting across a broad range of certified media.
