Traxdata announced the new with the RW-2500, offering 8x recording for both DVD-R and DVD+R. The drive will also support 4x DVD+RW and 2x DVD-RW recording. In the CD part, the RW-2500 support 32x CD-R, 16x CD-RW and 32x CD-ROM. The maximum reading speed for DVD-ROM will be 16x.

The retail package will be available in the market this month at a price of approximately 160 euros.
