New Sharp Aquos Zeta SH-02 Smartphone Features An IGZO Display
NTT DoCoMo today unveiled the Sharp Aquos Phone Zeta SH-02E, which is the first production smartphone with an IGZO display.
Available in red, white and blue color variations, the smartphobe features a 4.9-inch (1,280x720) IGZO display, which promise to offer higher translucency compared to regular LCDs, which reduces the demand for backlighting and thus, it consumes less power.
The phone is also includes a 16-megapixel camera, 1.5GHz APQ8064 quad-core prpcessor with Adreno 320 graphics, 2GB RAM and is powered by a 2,320 mAh battery, which will last two days under normal use, including sending mail and using apps, according to Sharp.
Based on Google's Android 4.0 OS, the Aquos Phone Zeta SH-02E supports Osaifu-Keitai (mobile wallet) NFC services, DLNA / DTCP-IP, it is compatible with NTT's LTE network and comes with a microSD slot (microSDXC).
