New Sony Cybershot at 7.2M
Sony's new Cybershot DSC-H5 features a 12x optical zoom, 7.2MP, Optical Stabilizer, a 3" screen and ISO values up to 1000. It will go on sale in Japan on May 19th.
This is Sony's second camera in the company's H-series to come equipped with a 12x optical zoom and "Super SteadyShot" optical image stabilization and a 3-inch LCD display. The new camera also uses Carl Zeiss lens.
The new 7.2-megapixel H5 features an ergonomic profile and its light body has been slimmed down to a very manageable 406g. Coupled with the Sony "Super SteadyShot" optical image stabilization, there will be less concern of unwanted blurring from zooming with an unsteady pair of hands.
Furthermore, with a high ISO 1000 sensor sensitivity that surpasses those offered by digital compacts, the H5 would have an added advantage of being able to capture clearer pictures in low lighting conditions.
