Nokia 9 PureView Arrives in the United States for $599

Nokia 9 PureView Arrives in the United States for $599

Smartphones Mar 4,2019 0

HMD Global announced that the Nokia 9 PureView is now available for purchase from Best Buy, bestbuy.com, Amazon and B&H.

The Nokia 9 PureView will be sold for a promotional price of $599 for the first week of sales and will return to its standard retail price of $699 starting Monday, March 11, 2019. Limited stock of the smartphone is available.

Announced some days ago at the MWC 2019 in Barcelona, the Nokia 9 PureView features the world's first five camera array with ZEISS Optics. Every picture taken with the Nokia 9 PureView leverages five simultaneous captures, fused into a single HDR image. It has two colour sensors for colour images and three monochromatic sensors which give sharpness and detail. All five sensors work together to collect up to 10-times the amount of light than a single sensor of the same type. The device also features the ability to capture images in uncompressed RAW "DNG" format and edit them directly on the phone thanks to a collaboration with Adobe Lightroom.

The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 mobile platform
featuring a dedicated imaging co-processor. It also features integrated Qi wireless charging a 5.99" 2K pOLED screen with PureDisplay technology. The Nokia 9 PureView screen also features an integrated fingerprint sensor, with security features further complemented by advanced biometric face unlock technology.

The Nokia 9 PureView launches with Android 9 Pie out of the box.
