NTI Introduces Pocket Backup Solution
NTI today made available two new patent-pending pocket backup products for Mac and Windows PCs. NTI Pocket Data Backup allows users to choose files and folders to backup to any USB drive. And, NTI Pocket PC Protection will backup the whole PC as an image to any standard USB drive.
NTI created these two backup solutions for users of USB external flash and hard drives to make data protection simple and ultra portable. Both new NTI pocket backup solutions are part of NTI's new "green" software design, where no software installation is needed. These new complete backup programs can run directly from the USB drive and the program is launched simply from the external USB drive.
The two new backup solutions provide a quick way to protect all the information on a PC with a simple interface. The concept and technology behind NTI's new pocket backup solutions are covered under US patents (pending) and trademarks for "data protection in your pocket".
Users can start immediately backing up their PC with a simple click of a button. Pocket Data Backup comes with a predefined backup job that preselects all of their important data files. Additionally the program gives the user the ability to customize the backup job to meet their individual needs.
NTI Pocket PC Protection does a backup of the user's complete Windows main hard drive under Linux. Pocket PC Protection creates a drive image backup so the user can actually boot from the USB backup destination.
