NTI's Backup Software Transforms USB Storage Device into Backup Appliance

NTI announced today the availability of NTI Pocket Data Backup in a retail version. The new software runs directly from any USB storage device, thus making data protection cost effective and portable.

The program runs directly from the USB drive and backs up to the USB drive. Files are backed up in their native format so that the backup data can be directly accessed without having to restore it.

There's no need to schedule any backup. Just plug the USB device into the computer and the backup will run automatically.

All you need to do is select the categories of files to back up and Pocket Data Backup will automatically find the various file formats such as pictures, videos, music, documents, and Internet files on the computer.

You can also restore entire category of files or just a single file with the Advanced Restore function. All backed up files are organized in file categories to make for an easy restore.

NTI Pocket Data Backup has been Designed for Windows 8, 7, Vista, and XP. Its MSRP is $19.99 and is available now to download at NTI?s online store for just $9.99.

NTI Pocket Data Backup OEM licensing is also available for software bundling with USB storage devices.
